Here's the patterns I created for Takoda's leggings, breechcloat & moccassins. They were created to fit mattel's articulated Ken/Derek (Takoda was originally a Prince Derek)
It is HIGHLY suggested that you use very thin suede or leather. I'm not sure how it would work with felt.
This site kinda explains how to hang the breechcloat (cloth) over a belt... I used a thin strip of leather tied around his waist. You also attach the leggings to the same belt. [link]
On the mocassins.... glue/sew the back together with the tab thingy on the inside. Attach the tongue part to the top of his foot with elastic, gather stitch the mocassin around the toes and then glue to the edges of the tongue. On mine, I used a fringed strip to pretty up the top of them. Does that make any sense at all?
If you need any help on it... feel free to ask me! I swear I won't bite
Hi. I stumbled upon your work and it is amazing. I was wondering if I can count on your advice for a project I have. I am upgrading a 12-inch Hasbro Luke Skywalker in Dagobah/Bespin outfit (The Empire Strikes Back) and I already changed the base body but I still want the uniform to be more fitting. Could you tell me how can I get Patterns for the Bespin Outfit (or at least the jacket) so I can make one anew? Thank you! I'll be watching your work form now on!
I had to google it... and I'm not sure where you can find patterns for that. Check out this forum... [link] Maybe there's something there that can help you?
