Do you ever have problems with suede staining the softer plastics of Barbie's face and legs? I've been afraid to work with it for that reason.
It depends on the suede and how it's been dyed. One thing I've noticed is when it's not dyed all the way through (ie, you'll see white on the edges) it will tend to leak out on the doll.
If you find it is staining the doll, then using a lining will prevent that... which is a huge PITA!

She's pretty tough though... especially since she thinks she tackled a polar bear for that fur
